Controller

VRC PRO can be controlled with a USB gamepad, a regular 2-axis joystick and even simple keyboard input, but

an r/c like controller is highly recommended to enjoy a true r/c racing experience. Using the VRC-3 or VRC-3NT

USB adaptor with your own radio gives you the best possible control and feel. VRC adaptors and USB

controllers are available from the VRC PRO e-shop. You MUST select and calibrate your controller in the

Control options dialog before to go racing.

A special controller customization feature has been developed to map your Windows USB gamepad. PS3 and

Xbox gamepads can also be used but require driver software from MotionInJoy.

Internet

You need a good internet connection, preferably broadband. The use of a special low latency gaming router is

recommended for best performance in multiplayer sessions. Satellite internet is not supported.

You can test your internet connection at special sites like http://speedtest.net/. For good multiplayer

performance you would need a Ping value of under 100msec (this is the time a packet travels from your

computer to the server you have selected, and back). Users who have a limited upstream bandwidth

(<1Mb/sec) connection and high ping values (>100 msec) are advised not to create sessions but only join

sessions. The quality of your internet connection is also determined by the percentage of packet-loss.

Multiplayer sessions use peer to peer connections between the host (creator of the session) and the players.

VRI has no influence at all on the quality of these internet connections and cannot ensure access to all host

computers.

VRC Pro account

You need a VRC Pro account to download and play VRC Pro. An account for VRC PRO can be obtained by

registering on the VRC Pro website or by purchasing VRC PRO at Steam. The amount of cars, components and

tracks you have available in the game depends on your VRC PRO license or subscription. You can choose

between a free-2-play license, a VRC PRO game license or an all-inclusive subscription. You can also obtain

individual car parts or tracks through in-game purchases using vCash. Everything you buy is linked to your

account. The game checks your account and will always automatically download cars, components and tracks

accordingly.

All your personal information including your real name, address, email address and password, and everything

you do including your race stats and purchase history, will be securely transferred and stored in the VRC

database on the VRI servers using secure SSL technology.

The same username and password are used to access both the game and the website.

VRC Pro installation and start

VRC PRO is installed on your computer and can be played on- and offline. In each case a valid VRC Pro account

is required with a valid software license (Free-to-Play, Standard or Deluxe) or full subscription.

This is all that is required to enjoy VRC PRO.
